Just a little bit about me: Since leaving school I have always worked with dogs, in both boarding and rehoming kennels. I also spent 10 years working for Guide dogs at their breeding centre, which included carrying out whelpings and care of mum and pups from birth to 6 weeks. Before moving over to another assistance dog charity called Dogs for Good, where I worked for 5 years on the health and welfare team.
It had always been a dream of mine to open my own salon. My van is a fully equipped salon on wheels, and I love it!
I only use high quality, natural products with no harsh chemicals. I treat every dog as if they were my own, to make the grooming process as nice an experience as possible for them.
I have a variety of qualifications to do with dog care and welfare, as well as my grooming qualifications, so you can be reassured that your dog is in safe hands.
I currently hold:
Btec 1st dip in small animal care
National Certificate in small animal care (included a grooming module)
NVQ level 2 in small animal care
City & Guilds in dog care and welfare (GDBA in house qualification)
Rhodes to Safety 1st aid certificate
City & Guilds in dog grooming level 2 & 3
